MWV Arts Calendar

This is a project designed to help
non-profit organizations in the Mt. Washington Valley
with scheduling cultural events.

Our mission is to offer this site as a 'clearing house'
for dates and activities of arts-related events
with the goal of
eliminating conflicts in scheduling.

Here is the information we need:

1. Official name of your organization
2. Confirmation of your non-profit status - i.e. copy of your IRS letter
3. Name of Executive Director or President
4. Name of Contact Person
5. Your organization's US Postal mailing address
6. Your email address
7. Your organization's website address - where people can look for more information.
8. A telephone number where you may be reached for verification or questions before your information is placed on the calendar.
9. A telephone number which is available to the public to use if they have questions.
10. A simple statement of your organization's mission and goals
    (We simply ask that your organization is involved in presenting some aspect of the performing arts - concerts, art shows, theater, etc. or that you are a non-profit presenting an arts-related event as a fundraiser.)

After we receive your information, we'll send you a password to use each time you send information to be placed on the MWV Arts Calendar.

When your organization is planning a concert, or an art show, a craft exhibit, or a theater presentation, let us know AS SOON AS YOU SET THE DATE!!!

THEN - you will have the assurance of knowing that any other organization planning an event will have the opportunity to know if there is a conflict - by checking the calendar BEFORE they set a date!

It is EASY - but ONLY if everyone gets involved. So, be sure to check the calendar BEFORE you set a date, and when you have decided when your event will take place, be sure to email the MWV Arts Calendar right away, so it will be posted.

If you belong to more than one arts-related organization, and if you have friends who belong to organizations, or know of arts groups at school, church, the community center, or any other place in the Mt. Washington Valley, please SPREAD THE WORD so everyone will use this service.

That is the only way we can be sure to help each other and avoid those awful conflicts.
